Chief Executive & Director
Mr. Ronca is a seasoned oil and gas executive with over 30 years experience of growing and monetizing assets. His responsibilities include strategy, acquisition, divestitures, capital market activities and overall administrative coordination. He has been active in the Barnett Shale for the past ten years where he has served in the capacity of Chairman for a private company before taking control of EagleRidge in 2009. Prior to his activities in the Barnett he founded an oil and gas division of Tenneco Inc., later acquired it and took it public on the NYSE where he served as CEO. He later merged his company with Lomak Petroleum creating Range Resources where he served as COO.
Mr. Ronca has a BS degree from Villanova University and an MBA from Drexel University.
Executive Vice President
Mr. Grawe has a broad range of experience in production, land, legal, contracts, and regulatory activities and is a seasoned oil and gas executive. Mr. Grawe has over 37 years of experience with Texas Oil & Gas Corp., Oryx Energy Company, Union Pacific Resources Corporation and has been active in the Barnett Shale for the past ten years. During his career he has supervised and managed activities in drilling, completions, land, regulatory, engineering and legal and has managed over 25 acquisitions. He was a founding partner in Crimson Energy Company which was formed in 1998 and sold in 2004 for more than $100 million.
Mr. Grawe graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a major in Petroleum Land Management.
Executive Vice President,
Mr. Gross supervises drilling, completion and production operation activities. Mr. Gross began his career with Western Atlas Logging Services. During his 20+ year career, he has worked for Chesapeake Energy, Chief Oil and Gas and Westside Energy. Prior to joining Eagleridge Energy, Mr. Gross was employed by Hunt Oil. While at Hunt Oil, Mr. Gross was a Senior Staff Completion Engineer working in Texas, North Dakota and the Middle East. Mr. Gross graduated with a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Bruce is a solutions-oriented individual experienced in working with complex and diversified Fortune 500 companies. As a seasoned senior financial and audit executive, Mr. Bruce brings with him over 25 years of a broad range of experiences within the energy, government and other sectors. He has been the Chief Audit Executive for several Fortune 500 companies. He has also directed strategy for industry groups related to oil and gas, energy, healthcare & government, manufacturing, construction, and other industrial services while at PwC. Previously, Mr. Bruce served as Director and South Region Practice Leader in the Internal Controls division of Jefferson Wells, VP and General Auditor for Lyondell Chemical Company, VP of Corporate Compliance and Internal Audit at Dynegy, Inc. and as Director of Strategic Risk Services at PWC.
Mr. Bruce holds his CPA license from the State of Texas and received his B.S. in Business Administration from Morgan State University and his M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
Senior Vice President,
Mr. Means is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and fund raising for ERE. Mr. Means has 30 years of experience building businesses and successfully completing numerous capital raising efforts in various industry sectors. He started his career by founding Rig Air, Inc. an oil & gas services company with locations in a five state region. From there he went into the capital market industry as a founder of a NASD registered regional broker dealer located in Houston Texas. After selling the broker dealer in the mid 90’s he participated in various startups as founder, advisor or board member. In 2004, he joined the investment banking firm of Sanders, Morris, Harris where he focused on M&A and capital markets efforts in the oil & gas industry. Mr. Means holds a degree in Business Administration and FINRA Series 7 & 63 securities licenses.
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Ashton received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2003 and began his career with Schlumberger Well Services in the Rocky Mountain Region. In 2006, he joined Weatherford Int. Stimulation Services Division as a Technical Engineer in Fort Worth, TX. In 2007, Mr. Ashton joined Ely & Associates, Inc. as a Completion Engineer Consultant where he designed and supervised various types of completion and well stimulation projects.
In 2010, Ashton joined the EagleRidge Energy Management Team as the Engineering Manager, responsible for all drilling and completion activities. He played a key role in helping the Company expand their Barnett Shale drilling program from one to five horizontal drilling rigs. In 2016, he assisted the Company’s A&D efforts, and after the successful acquisition of multiple North Texas assets he transitioned to Vice President of Operations. Mr. Ashton and his operations team are responsible for improving production from legacy and acquired wells through workover well interventions, artificial lift installations, identifying operating efficiencies, value engineering, and using best practices to control expenses.
Vice President, Finance
Mr. Miller has been with ERE since May 2010. Prior to joining ERE, Mr. Miller worked for Petro Capital Group, an energy-focused private equity fund with a connected investment banking arm. Mr. Miller assists Mr. Ronca in finance functions at EagleRidge and is responsible for day-to-day lender and equity sponsor management, hedging, corporate finance, investor relations and other financial matters. Mr. Miller received a B.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics from The George Washington University and held FINRA Series 7 & 63 securities licenses while working for Petro Capital.
Before joining EagleRidge Energy, Mr. Kennedy served as a geologist in upstream exploration and development with Brigham Exploration, Neff Oil & Gas, Rosewood Resources, Dallas Exploration and working as an independent for several years. He has vast experience in the Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin, East Texas Basin, Gulf Coast, Powder River Basin as well as the Barnett Shale. Mr. Kennedy is a graduate of Trinity University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geology.
